Some of our regular girls were out because Beth Moore has been teaching at a church in the city all week.
At HimnI we dove into the thought that Jesus is King. He's not king by vote or force. He's king because Jesus is King. The Spirit was thick in the room as we dwelled on this thought and what effect Jesus being king has on our life.
Paul gave us this picture in Philippians 2
8And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross!
9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
